On February 25th, the city - wide United Front Work Department Heads’ Meeting was held in our university and it focus on the point that in 2025, it is necessary to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thought on doing a good job in the Party’s united front work in the new era, earnestly implement the decision-making and deployment of the municipal Party committee, strictly implement the responsibility system for united front work, further improve the grand united front work pattern, and continuously promote the high-quality development of united front work.

Wang Xibo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our university, delivered a model speech, in which he introduced the experience and practices of our university’s united front work from four aspects as strengthening the Party’s leadership and build a grand united front pattern; strengthening political guidance and consolidate the foundation of ideals and beliefs; pooling united front wisdom and serve the local economic development and promoting cultural exchanges and mutual learning, so as to contribute to the construction of an internationalized provincial - capital city.

Wang Xibo concluded that in the next step, the Party committee of our university will earnestly implement the decision-making and deployment of the municipal Party committee, strictly implement the responsibility system for united front work, continuously unite and lead non-Party intellectuals to adhere to focusing on the center and serving the overall situation, strive to write a new chapter in our university’s united front work, provide a solid guarantee for promoting the construction of a first-class applied university, and contribute the strength of our university to the construction of a modern, international, and beautiful provincial-capital city.
