In order to study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on carrying out the activities of learning from Lei Feng, on March 5th, the launch of the 2025 “Learning from Lei Feng Month” volunteer service activity and the flag-presenting ceremony of the campus environmental purification volunteer service team were held in the Central Square of the South Campus. Vice President Feng Baoqiang attended the event, along with over 90 representatives from the Communist Youth League Committee, Logistics Management Office, Secretary of the General Branch of the Communist Youth League, Campus Environmental Purification Volunteer Service Team, and volunteers from secondary schools, as well as representatives from property management companies.

During the event, Feng Baoqiang presented the flag to the volunteer service team, marking the official launch of our school’s “Learn from Lei Feng Month” volunteer service campaign in 2025. Shi Cha, the secretary of the Youth League Committee, read out the “Notice on Carrying out the Volunteer Service Activity of ‘Learning from Lei Feng Month’ in Shijiazhuang University in 2025”. Yang Zeren, the volunteer representative and a 2022 Mathematics and Applied Mathematics Major student from the School of Science, made a speech. Tian Zirun, the leader of the volunteer service team and a 2022 Robot Engineering Major student from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, led the volunteer representatives to make a collective oath.

This event is a measure to effectively combine our school’s youth volunteer work with campus management services and continuously enhance the quality of our work. The activity takes the “Learn from Lei Feng Month” volunteer service activity as an opportunity to further promote the volunteer spirit of “dedication, friendship, mutual assistance, and progress”, while effectively enhancing the “sense of ownership” of our students, leading and uniting them to contribute their youthful strength to creating beautiful scenes such as “Advancing Campus” and “Beautiful Campus”, and helping the university’s “1396” development strategy to be implemented and effective!
